Your New Salary:  £42 - 45K, plus 10% bonus and BUPA

Who you'll be working for:

Our Client is an advanced technology company who is seeking a Supply Planner to work within the Global Operations team to establish and monitor safety stock levels to achieve optimal customer service. You will assist with building capabilities within the supply planning function, and will enhance both business process and support technology to achieve business results in a more efficient manner. 


What you'll be doing each day:

·Lead and maintain the monthly “Supply Plan” side of the S&OP process;
·Establish procedures and ensure regional compliance to the process;
·Construct an annual by-month inventory plan (to include targets and forecasts) with the objective of improving inventory turns;
·Publish a weekly inventory update of finished goods inventory KPI’s and ensure the business understands the metrics;
·Achieve annual goals for applicable KPIs: Inventory turns, DII, Customer Service Metrics. Monitor Schedule Adherence and Schedule Acceptance;
·Support the New Product Introduction process by working closely with the Commercial teams to ensure adequate time to develop Operations go-to-market plans;
· Effectively communicate issues, risks, and opportunities for optimization;
·Work closely with the Commercial teams to ensure lead-time requirements are considered when reviewing Demand vs. Supply, including new product launches;
·Developing net requirements and updating the 12-18 month rolling supply plan on a monthly frequency, ensuring there is appropriate communication of the supply plan to relevant parties;
·Address, with a sense of urgency, any supply issues, additional costs and preventative actions in the event of late deliveries and/or short shipments;
·Be a key participant of the S&OP process;
·Serve as the regional Supply Planning Super User for the company Supply Planning tool;
·Ensure regional compliance with system use and provide business input to continuously optimize the solution;
·Work closely with Product Supply and Operations team in the integration and consolidation of regional warehousing;

The skills you need to succeed:

·Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent working experience required;
·French language skills are a plus!
·Supply Chain and Logistics experience or relatable Procurement/Sourcing experience;
·Proven track record of effective supply chain performance, including customer service, supplier and asset management and continuous process and systems improvement;
·Sound computer skills including using the forecasting and planning tools of a major ERP software system (SAP AFS, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, I2);
·Good technical skills in all primary Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
·Strong people & organizational leadership skills;
·Able to communicate, reinforce and coach/counsel others;
