Who You'll Be Working for:

Freight Forwarding (air, sea) and Logistics company is looking for a Sales Executive.


What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Perform related duties as assigned by Manager of National Business Development
  • As Sales Executive, develop Japanese traffic or Japan related business in the U.K.
  • Deliver expertise to collaborate local sales team in the U.K.
  • Responsible for both Airfreight and Sea Freight
  • To achieve objectives and targets, responsible for travelling to Japan and/or other countries

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both in English and Japanese
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary sales for Japanese business
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to communicate both with local staff and colleagues overseas by telephone and e-mails.
