Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Receptionist (Part-Time)

The Skills You'll Need: Mandarin to native level and fluent English. Proven organisational / administration skills in an international environment, excellent communication skills.

Your New Salary: £28-33k pro rata, depending on experience

Location: West London

Job status: Part-time (2 or 3 days per week, flexible)

  • speak and write Mandarin to native level
  • have Receptionist / Admin experience in a corporate environment
  • are happy to take a part-time job (2-3 days per week)
  • are happy to work in the office

Summary:

Our client, a global real estate developer is looking for a candidate to deliver friendly, efficient guest service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of the guests and staff, as well as provide a general office administrative management to the business, maintain nice office environment and well controlled office supplies.

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Perform receptionist functions and deliver excellent guest services at all times.
  • Assist in keeping the reception area clean and tidy at all times. Check and make sure the meeting room tidy and clean after the meeting.
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner in person, on the telephone or via e-mail; receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages.
  • Provide a general office administrative management to the business; maintain offices in a nice environment and well control office supplies.
  • Be responsible for office supply purchase, provider management, booking management, expense reimbursement and recording.
  • Plan and organize delegation visits occasionally.
  • Organise and support company events and client events when required.
  • Manage arrangement for necessary office repairs; provide assistance to office administration.
  • Translation in English and Chinese is required.
  • Carry out other tasks assigned by line managers and supervisors.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Written and spoken Mandarin to native level, plus fluent English.
  • Be sociable, assertive with good communication skills.
  • Have excellent organizational and good time management skills with the ability to plan ahead.
  • Positive, problem solving approach.
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills.
  • Previous working experience in admin/secretary/reception role.
