Location: Central London
Responsible for handling the contractual documentation of facilities in compliance with terms as per proved credit proposal; and carrying out other loan related support functions.
" To prepare other ancillary documents, e.g. Borrower's authority to disclose information and Independent Legal Advice (ILA) interview notes for BDD to follow up with their clients
" To Prepare Loan Commitment Report
" To Liaise with BDD and prepare weekly loan enquiry table for Head Office
" To Prepare reports for the General Manager, Head Office and OBOD as required, including the monthly BDD statistics report ; reports on customer referral to BEA China and loan yield analysis for Head Office; quarterly referral report for OBOD
" To prepare / review standard offer letters ensuring that the terms are in compliance with terms as per approved credit proposal
" Register new offer letter on monitoring report, monitor return of signed offer letters; and prepare report on bi-weekly basis advising non-return of offer letters and outstanding fees
" To check and ensure that the offer letters and other documents returned by Borrower are duly executed
" To check to ensure the solicitor firm's to act on our behalf is to have a minimum of two Solicitors Regulatory Authority partners; and if not seek instructions from account officers
" To prepare Security requisition form
" To carry out on SAS RIP Approval input (stage 3) and Input MG/LD ref after drawdown
" To handle fee payments and invoices on banking systems; to reconcile suspense accounts after paying valuers' invoices; to update the valuation register manually once payment has been done; and to scan invoices into INVU
" To monitor the outstanding items (e.g. original copy of offer letter, valuation fees, certificate of legal validity etc.) after drawdown from time to time
" To prepare lapsed memos for naturally matured and fully repaid loans and to update lapsed memo monitoring report
" University Degree educated to a minimum of 2.1
" Fluent Cantonese and English
" GCSE and A-Level qualifications
" To have a good academic record with the majority of the results being A grades.
" The ability to comply with the Bank's risk management policies and perform the related monitoring measures.
" Understands the overall responsibilities and functions of the department and effectively apply the skills and knowledge required of the position.
" The ability to perform effectively at times of pressure and work effectively with minimum direct supervision.
" The ability to provide services to customers (both external & internal) and address their needs. Willingness to offer help. Ability to make favourable impressions: courtesy, patience & flexibility.
" Mandarin speaking and writing skills desirable
