Who you'll be working for:

Well known airline company is looking for Japanese/ Italian Speaking Account Executive – Italian/UK market

This role requires flexibility as Business trips to Italy and Ireland will be involved.

Responsible for managing relationships with corporate and trade customers in Italy and UK, for both the Japanese and non-Japanese markets.

This responsibility includes developing a successful, consistent approach to local and multinational dealing to maximise revenue and minimise the cost of sale.

It also includes gaining maximum value for the airline from any corporate agreements.

Engaging in joint sales and marketing activities in order to increase the level and quality of company’s revenue sold through these partners and driving efficiencies in the distribution processes

What you'll be doing each day:

§        Develop and maintain long term strategic relationships with company’s trade partners and corporate clients.

§        Prepare an account development plan to achieve short, medium, and long term mutual benefits for both Trade Partners and Corporate customers.

§        Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the sales strategy, to maximise short and long-term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift where appropriate.

§        Reviews sales data with the account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities

§        Develop tactical Sales and Marketing activity in support of sales opportunities in corporate market place.

§        Maximise value from marketing spend.

§        Maintain Sales professionalism standards

§        Provide regular Market Intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.

§        Represent the company at trade events, promotions and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarization visits.

§        Perform other related functions, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

§        The jobholder may be required to carry out other duties provided they are within the general level of responsibility of the duties set out above.

The skills you need to succeed:

§        Language skill - fluent in Japanese and English (both written and spoken) and intermediate level in Italian (reading and spoken)

§        Commercial acumen. Able to spot and interpret market trends

§        Customer facing experience

§        Experience in negotiating contracts and inside sales or outside sales experience are desirable

§        Good understanding of sales systems and interpretation of available data

§        Travel industry experience will be advantage but not essential

§        Excellent relationship building skills

§        Proven commercial skills and business acumen

§        Ability to develop a good network within the airline industry

§        Sound knowledge of travel industry

§        Strong decision making and problem solving skills

§        Excellent planning and time management skills
