Your New Job Title: JAPANESE SPEAKING Cargo Sales Agent - Airline

Your New Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (all inclusive, depending on expertise and experience)

Status: Permanent/ Full-time

Location: Hatton Cross/ Heathrow

The Skills you'll need each day: Japanese, Airline/Forwarder Cargo Sales, Business Development/ Sales, Sales & Marketing, Import & Export Cargo

Who you'll be working for: International airline requires a Japanese speaking Cargo Sales Agent.  On the job training will be given for successful candidate.

What you'll be doing each day:

  • An excellent communicator with considerable sales, marketing, organisational and managerial skills who is dedicated to attaining growth through commitment.

  • A good team player, flexible with good interpersonal skills, adapting quickly to new environments and able to work efficiently to deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

  • In this role, you will have access to a wide array of shipping solutions, access to the multiple rate structures and a higher level of customer engagement and support making your efforts far more rewarding.

  • Responsible for direct and telephone sales, visiting and maintaining our major customers, able to negotiate at Managing Director level and empathise with ground floor staff as well..

  • The Account Executive will consult with clients to understand their overall business and specifically their logistics goals, and will then design customized shipping solutions based on those needs

  • Able to support and ideas for logistical solutions to freight movement requirement whilst building close working relationships with our customers.

  • Will be able to develop sales leads through prospecting activities, be able to conduct face-to-face meetings and deliver impactful sales presentations, and be able to close deals while exceeding established quotas.

  • Learning the key processes (Flight arrival handling and document distribution) of Import & Export Cargo management.

  • Working with new in house IT systems to ensure smooth handling and give quick responsive action,

  • Accurate reporting for statistics purpose and accounting, whilst maintaining rates, invoicing and billing processes.

    The skills you need to succeed:

  • Fluent English and Japanese; writing, reading and speaking

  • Sales experience in Cargo industry or other fields

  • Able to understand and follow manuals when required.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken

  • Able to provide flexibility in different rolls. 

  • Team player

  • Show initiative and able to work under pressure

  • Maintain focus on all aspects of work.

  • Looks to improve efficiency and quality of service

  • Current full driving licence

  • Criminal Record Check. (Airside Pass)
