Job Title: Banking Regulatory - Senior Operations Officer
Salary: up to £45k depending on experience + banking benefit
Status:  Permanent
Location: Central London
Report to: Operations Manager
Key responsibilities:
·To assist the Operations Manager in overseeing compliance in operational risk, payment services and outsourcing
·To verify third party payments and monitor financial sanctions so as to ensure compliance with related regulations
·To prepare, review and update documentation, including but not limited to risk-related reports, of the Operations Department
·To ensure the Bank’s outsourcings and payment processes are carried out in accordance with the Bank’s guideline
·To manage the Bank’s records and ensure the relevant processes are in compliance with outsourcing/ insourcing guidelines
·To assist in the maintenance and update of the Bank’s Business Continuity Plan and annual testing and report
·To participate in ad hoc projects and relief duties as required
·To act as the Assistant Fire Marshal for the Bank
Key requirements:
·University graduate
·Good understanding in compliance and risk management of the banking industry
·Excel in doing research and having ability to transpose regulatory requirements into operational processes
·Possession of experience in retail banking, using SWIFT payment / name screening systems and/or relevant risk management is an advantage.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
·Previous supervisory or manager experience.
·Willing to develop into a deputy for the Operations Department.
