Who you'll be working for:

Multinational professional legal firm with an ambitious business plan is seeking a Japanese speaking to develop business with Japanese organisations throughout the UK and Europe.

What you'll be doing each day:

Approach to Japanese companies based in the UK and Europe and marketing for expatriate medical insurance services.  Maintain the company’s client base within the Japanese, European-based business community using a range of marketing tools including brochures, presentations, events and referrals.

Day-to-day business will normally be conducted in Japanese language in the context of a Japanese working culture.

  • Be an expert in the expatriate medical insurance product
  • Provide full customer support for the product
  • Liaise between the members and insurance company to ensure the delivery of a high-quality

service at all time

  • Maintain clients’ files
  • Arrange and process contract renewals for each client every year
  • Generate the quotations for both new account and renewals
  • Actively seeking potential clients in the Japanese market
  • Translate various documents (English/Japanese) as required

The skills you need to succeed:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese
  • Relevant sales/ business development experience as well as experience of working for/with international

companies is essential.

  • Experience in insurance brokering will be an advantage.
  • University degree
  • A proven ability to liaise and communicate confidently at board, director and MD level
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Good understanding of Japanese/Far Eastern working culture to enable effective and confident client

interactions

  • Ability to organize events and work under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other internal staff
  • High level of computer literacy in Microsoft, Excel, Word and Power-Point
  • A willingness to travel anywhere in the UK and Europe
