Your New Job Title: Customs Specialist (EU/Non-EU regulations)
Your New Daily rate:    up to £380 PAYE or £495 LTD (equivalent of up to £99,600)
Duration: Long Term temporary assignment for 12 months with the possibility of being extended            
Location: West London
Who you'll be working for:
Our Client is a global FMCG company are looking for a Customs Specialist who has experience with EU/Non EU regulations, Free Trade Agreements and Preferential Origin experience. You will be accountable for the customs Brexit work streams, determining and implementing mitigations for all Brexit risks and issues. You need to drive the continuous improvements and evolve and implement a strategy in a constantly changing landscape. These processes are critical to the company as they have a direct impact on the continuity of supply and compliance with customs regulations across the EU.  The eventual solution must be compliant with external customs authority rules and any mistakes make have financial repercussions for the company you will be working for.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of the customs Brexit work streams including Free Trade Agreements, Customs master data and authorisations
Customs analysis of key Brexit developments
Ensure plan is in place to deliver continuity of supply and compliant customs duty position post-Brexit
Maintenance of customs data impact analysis
•You will be responsible for understanding process and Brexit risks and ensuring that they are identified, mitigated, controlled and reported appropriately
The candidate will work with customs work stream leads and other departments to define appropriate post-Brexit company’s customs organisation.
Prepare data required for advent of possible UK-EU Free Trade Agreement
Provide relevant Risk Analysis where required
Own, update and maintain customs Brexit data set
Service Planning and Evolution
Assess, prioritise and deliver Brexit service enhancements or changes to the current Service Portfolio
Ensure service delivery post-Brexit is stabilised and quickly delivers in line with baseline metrics and agreed performance
Delivery of service elements to plan to support acquisitions or divestments, implementation of CERPS and other ERP changes, process improvements and risk mitigations
Customer Relationship Management
The skills you need to succeed:
Working knowledge of current EU and Non EU Customs arrangements
Good understanding of the potential impact of Brexit on a manufacturing organisation
Good knowledge of existing EU Free Trade agreements and preferential origin rules
Good understanding of Cost Accounting and Pricing and Tax implications
The personal attributes you will require:

• You will have good communication and people skills
• Very strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse data
•You will have the ability to work off own initiative and comfortable with delegated responsibility
• You will be able to work within a team
