Who You'll Be Working for:

We are seeking an Events Team Assistant to assist with all aspects of the planning and logistics of its international conferences, seminars and other events for professionals in the field of sustainable finance.

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

The Events Team Assistant will join an expanding events team and play an important role in developing our exciting events business.

  • Liaison with events team, sales team to provide logistics information to speakers and sponsors
  • Webinars: setting up and managing webinar sessions on the system platform, managing test calls and on-the-day technical support.
  • Maintenance of event websites and applications.
  • On site operation: delegate and speaker registration, set-up and removal of session rooms and exhibition stands
  • Graphic Design: creation of digital and print materials for the events
  • Post event data collection
  • Input into identifying and researching ways to improve the delivery of events

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

You should be a highly motivated, well-organised, self-starter with a desire to be very hands-on in a company where you gain real career experience. An interest in sustainability issues would be desirable. Knowledge of events organisation/administration is advantageous but not essential. Enthusiasm, passion, attention to detail and hard work are!

  • Excellent IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Advanced IT knowledge in HTML, InDesign, Photoshop or other graphic manipulation software is desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Japanese ability (N2-N1 level)
  • A keen interest in sustainability is desirable
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, well-organised, ideas-oriented, self-starter and a desire to be very hands-on in a company where you can grow your career.

Experience working in events is ideal but not necessary. Most highly evaluated are enthusiasm, passion and hard work.

Working hours:            09:30-17:30
