Job status:                  Long Term Temporary Contract (Four Months Initially)

Start date:                  ASAP

Working hours:            Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

The Supply Chain Assistant actively assists the sourcing team in their execution of supply chain strategy, raw materials procurement and management and overall coordination of the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Updating seasonal cost information
· Monitoring and maintaining accuracy of data within the system, throughout the season, following buying meetings and range reviews
· Ensuring that all data held within system or final range is confirmed with vendors, to ensure accuracy of data
· Dealing with any price file queries from finance and liaising with finance and vendors with regards to queries and discrepancies
· Ensuring that all vendors receive necessary raw materials and trims in order to enable to deliver goods on agreed ex-factory date
· Raising vendor POs for every market and follow closely PO related administration: ordering swing tickets and care labels
· Creating planners, following up deliveries with vendors and running weekly SAP delivery reports
· Acting as a liaison between vendor and QA with regards to all QA issues
· Following up with Product Development for outstanding BOM information
· Acting as the main point of contact for the suppliers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring suppliers are kept up to date with regards to key dates
· Preparing data on both a routine and ad-hoc basis, in order to ensure that any issues that may affect on-time delivery of goods are raised at the earliest opportunity
· Coordinating sealing process ensuring styles are signed off in line with critical path

The skills you'll need to succeed


· Experience in Production/Manufacturing and Supply Chain desirable
· Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel
· Knowledge of SAP desirable
· The ability to work well under pressure and enjoying working in a fast paced environment
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
· Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail

  ITALIAN speaker ideally but not vital
