Location: Central London (regular travel in the UK with occasional International travel required)


What you'll be doing each day:

You will identify, develop and lead step changes within the Group Logistics function (and beyond), to improve cost, service and flexibility for the business, whilst creating a continuous improvement culture across the wider team. You will be responsible for the project delivery responsibility of up to £20m and will have 1 direct report in this position.


Lead design, project management and implementation

  • Manage design consultants and key contractors to budget costs and plan
  • Finalise design elements, engaging with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Justify additional functionality and secure additional funding from key decision makers
  • Inform and recommend brand configuration and sizing
  • Develop migration / implementation plans and budgets
  • Create positive relationships with key cross functional stakeholders

Lead delivery of the Project

  • Lead the business data analysis to support the change programme
  • Create and maintain detailed brand action plans
  • Work collaboratively across the business to gain buy in and ownership

Supply Chain Modelling and Efficiency Improvements

  • Identify and deliver opportunities to reduce handling / shipping and to utilize cheaper shipping options (e.g. direct shipments & bulk picking)
  • Manage network space modelling to meet current and future forecast requirements
  • Provide logistical expertise and support to wider business projects and implementations
  • Seek out industry best practice and identify opportunities for deployment within the function
  • Lead, organize and coordinate the wider Logistics change programme

The skills you need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a fast moving, multi-site retail environment
  • Strong operational management experience in demanding, fast paced, time critical environments, across multiple sites and 3PLs
  • Extensive knowledge of industry best practice
  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate large volumes of complex data into insightful analysis and plans
  • Highly computer literate with strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
  • WMS & automation experience
  • Strong experience of Delivering projects (sizable, complex change initiatives and start- ups).
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, able to collaboratively work across functions
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge
