The Skills you'll use each day: Previous experience working within private banking sector and familiar with private banking products, dealing with local regulators regarding the private banking area, and has good understanding of compliance, anti-money laundry.

Who you'll be working for: Our client is a well-established and fast expanding bank.

As a Senior Operations Officer, you should be a highly target driven, career minded individual who has excellent knowledge of Private Banking business. This position provides an exciting opportunity for working within a growing team to cover a broad area of duties.

In the role of the Senior Operations Officer, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Private Banking Department to achieve departmental objectives;
  • Prepare reports for Private Banking activities of the Private Banking business and give flexible solutions to improve procedures where appropriate;
  • Assist Head of Private Banking with institutional visit and business negotiation;
  • Monitor and analyse any exceptions to private banking guidelines;
  • Adhere to operational procedures to ensure compliance with the Bank’s guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements;
  • Implement any policies and procedures required for UK regulatory/compliance purposes;
  • Liaise with IT Department to implement systems for the Private Banking business;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Private Banking.

The skills you need to succeed:

  • Experienced in Private Banking business;
  • Good knowledge of Private Banking business mode in the UK, especially for products and operations;
  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally from a finance related educational background;
  • Team working and an eye for detail;
  • Deadline driven and abilities to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication and inter-cultural skills.
