Our client is a Globally recognised life sciences company who are currently looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to be responsible for high service levels at minimal cost and stockholding by generating planning requests for third party products and ordering stock from suppliers. Also for tracking inbound delivery, processing order confirmations, chasing overdue items and assisting in resolving receiving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Validating planning tool output to ensure that the right stock levels and service levels will be hit for third party products
Ordering stock from suppliers to fulfil customer orders and maintain service levels
Processing of order confirmations from suppliers, liaising with other departments where necessary to resolve queries
Chasing suppliers for overdue items
Dealing with issues where stock does not arrive exactly as it should
Other ad hoc duties as necessary
The skills you need to succeed:
Experience within Supply Chain is preferable
Strong office admin experience
Experience of working with MS Office particularly Excel and Outlook
Good interpersonal skills, especially ability to be able to communicate externally with suppliers & internally with colleagues both locally & overseas
Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
Strong attention to detail
Ability to solve problems
A strong Customer focus
