Duration:    Long term temporary assignment for 6 months
Daily rate:    up to £384 PAYE or £502 LTD co (equivalent to £99,800 per annum)

You will be responsible for setting the Procurement measures and supporting Heads of Corporate Services and R&D Procurement to drive performance, proactively highlight opportunities to improve outcomes and ensure tight governance of the reported savings executed.

Responsibilities:

·You will need to bring Finance and Procurement together to continually review performance, jointly evaluate the adherence to the Spend Management Framework and set action plans.
·Whilst the role will not have direct line management responsibility, you will be reliant on others for delivery and will need to be able to address the complexities of implementing change in multi-cultural and cross-functional environments
·Development, alignment of global KPI’s and driving performance
·Tackle complex data and behaviour challenges to show the real savings potential and actual delivery
·Design and lead the change management of Global Procurement’s performance management process aligned to the new Spend Management Framework.
·Lead regular reviews with Finance Partners and the Heads Corporate Services and R&D Procurement to track savings performance, highlight areas of risk and prepare the rounds of budget Updates.
·Enable the governance of the Spend Management Framework
·Review and (when necessary) escalates savings projects where documented methods may not suffice; make recommendations on approach.
·Be the subject matter expert to support the calculation of savings
·Be accountable for the Procurement strategy and savings process aligned to the ‘Spend Management Framework’ and Procurement’s Internal Controls Framework.
·Champion the systems used ensuring that the information is inputted and maintained correctly.
·Regularly provide input into the Decision Support team to improve the format, usability and data quality in Procurement performance dashboards.
·Partner with the Finance Teams to extract information from systems (unit cost pricing, spend, budget, etc) to provide full visibility of the savings impact.

Essential skills to be successful in this role:
·Knowledge of Procurement
·Strong analysis experience, able to pull data etc
·Reporting experience etc
·Experience of managing senior stakeholders
·Track record in identifying, prioritising and delivering performance KPIs
·University degree (BSc or equivalent) –certificate required if successful
